Skintone to a black and white picture

Difficulty: Easy

A Two-Step way to add skintone to a black and white picture.
For this tutorial I will be using the following picture:

screenshot 1

Step 1:

Open your picture in Photoshop and select the area you want to color with the magnetic lasso tool.

Step 2:

Next go to 'Image' > 'Adjustments' > 'Variations'.
This will give you the following screen:

For the skintone in this picture I chose 2x 'More red' and 1x 'More Yellow'.
You might have to play around with the 'Variations' settings though to get the right tone - depending on your picture.

You could make it lighter or darker in the right pane of the screen:

Or you can try out various settings at the top of the screen:

When you're satisfied, just hit 'OK' and you're done!

The final result:

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and find it useful.
